FWIN's Christmas Craft Fair

The festive season was in full swing this week in St Augustine’s Church Hall thanks to a Christmas Craft Event organised by Foyle Women’s Information Network.

The highly successful workshop, held on Thursday December 19th, saw women from across the city gathering to develop skills in various crafts.

Those taking part got a chance to create Christmas floral decorations, make their own Christmas cards, create personalised Christmas decorations and a host of other activities.

Catherine Cooke, Co-ordinator of FWIN, said: “This was a really successful event, attracting women from throughout the city and everyone taking part had a great time.

“The ladies involved had a chance to design their own unique Christmas creations in a fun and friendly environment.

“FWIN had a brilliant year in 2013, with loads of exciting events and we are really looking forward to 2014 which looks set to be a fantastic year for us as we celebrate our 20th anniversary.”
