The event was held in FWIN’s new premises at Holywell DiverseCity Community Partnership (formerly The Junction) on Bishop Street.

During the first part of the morning the outgoing Chairperson, Louise McIntyre, and Co-ordinator, Catherine Cooke, addressed members, and a new Committee was elected. There was also a Financial Report from Noel Crossan of Moore, Stephens, Bradley & McDaid.

During the second section members were given an update on the Regional Women’s Consortium, from Policy, Communication and Engagement Officer with FWIN, Rosie McCann and Donna McAnenny from the Women’s Centre. The group also heard from Ciara King, Research Officer, with the Border Roads to Memories & Reconciliation Project.

This was followed by a talk and tour of the new building from Gerard Deane, Programme Co-ordinator of The Garden of Reflection.

Catherine Cooke said: “This was a very successful event and I was delighted to see the room packed with our members. I am really looking forward to the coming year and all the exciting events we have planned, especially our INSPIRE 2014 Conference to be held in the Guildhall on March 27th 2014.”
